Glenfiddich Project XX is an innovative experiment that deviates from their traditional 130-year-old operation. This unique single malt is the result of a collaboration between 20 Glenfiddich Brand Ambassadors from 16 different countries. Each ambassador was invited to sample and select their favorite cask from the warehouse. The selection included 17 ex-bourbon barrels, two sherry butts, and one Port pipe. Malt Master Brian Kinsman then skillfully blended these selections to create this fascinating single malt.
The result is a whisky that offers a unique profile of subtle orange, salt, marshmallow, and nuttiness on the nose. The palate is led by bourbon-infused vanilla, caramel, and cloves. This seemingly random mixture shouldn’t work, but thanks to Kinsman’s expertise, it absolutely does.

The finish is long with a lot of coffee, slightly spicy, and a lot of oakiness especially towards the very end.
